Breaking hearts....

Some people have the (mis)fortune of being labelled as serial daters. These people are not quite (man)whores because they lack the promiscuous element; they simply always seem to jump from one relationship to another, leaving broken hearts in their wake. I guess this bothers some people, inciting them to be cautious in their amorous pursuits..."Now don't you go breaking his heart..."

But why not? I mean, in today's world where relationships begin and end over the same cup of coffee, we enter into every relationship with the understanding that in all likelihood, someone's going to have their heart broken along the way. It's funny though, because it seems like if a guy breaks a girl's heart, well, it's par for the course and women are just overly emotional. Yet, if a girl breaks a guys heart, a) they either don't have the decency to even acknowledge their hurt, or b) the woman is labelled a cold-hearted bitch. So what do I think?

I think a girl's gotta break a man's heart every once in a while, just to remind herself she still can...
